In response to a post about tattoo kits, another member, patriciorip, replied with the following words of wisdom: "I'm not a pro, just a simple guy, but one thing I've learned about the tattoo world: the tattoo (or piercing ) career is based on apprenticeship. "If you have a skilled artistic side (not with a machine but with a simple pencil) you can go get an apprenticeship, learn how to tattoo and where to buy a real good machine and supplies.
